This “Project” known as EDGE 2 is located at 2 North 6th Place, which is an East River waterfront site located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. EDGE 2 will consist of a new 40-story, 554-unit, ~629,818- SF multifamily high-rise with ground floor retail and a cellar-level 35,000-SF parking garage for ~173 valet-parked vehicles. The tower will have 31 habitable floors on top of a 9-story podium with a mixture of duplex apartments at ground level, affordable units on all floors, and tenant amenities. Setback roof terraces and cantilevered balconies add to the mix. A covered roof terrace is located above the 40th floor. The building’s apartment blocks will be broken into apartment stacks of A, B, and C with C primarily being the low-rise podium apartments north of the high-rise tower.
